What better way to close 2021 than by analyzing one of the best games I’ve ever played in my life. BioShock was a title that shook the foundations of what a shooter meant, introducing new mechanics to a genre that seemed extremely consolidated.
An FPS with RPG features, allowing the player to make his own decisions, both for the final outcome of the game and for the user’s own style of play. This is something we see very often today, but in 2007 it was a very little explored design, or very niche in other genres.
In this Podcast, even though the video was broken in the editing, the audio was fine and overall I think it was a very enjoyable program.
