Another Gaming Club meeting, and this time we had the MMO experience. And, to be honest… I didn’t enjoy it as much as I expected.
There is a wide range of reasons, but the main one, and the conclusion we came to in the podcast, was that we failed to really deliver on the MMO experience. That is, playing with other people and enjoying a genre that has “Multiplayer” in its name.
In retrospect, the ideal would have been to take advantage of my friend Wolf4883’s experience, make content together, coordinate to play as a group, in short, the basic MMO experience. I don’t think we will repeat another MMO in the Gaming Club, at least for an indefinite period of time.
Add to that the fact that I didn’t end up falling in love with Lost Ark, and you have a recipe for disaster. I still stand by many of my criticisms of the game. An MMORPG also has to offer the player moments to be able to play alone and enjoy the game on their own.
But why explain it here, I’ll leave you with the podcast!
