If you’re a fan of Undertale, you’re not going to like my personal opinions about the game. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think it’s a bad game, but I have to say that I didn’t enjoy it as much as I expected.
Many people told me it was a GREAT GAME, and I played it with too many expectations. Interestingly, the same people who told me it was a great game also confessed that they didn’t enjoy their first experience with Undertale either; that they almost quit and/or had to give it another chance, so I don’t feel so guilty.
After much talk and discovering that the magic of the game is in its alternative endings and its various versions of the story according to the decisions made by the player, we came to the conclusion in the Podcast that four hours are not enough to analyze the game well.
While it is enough to see its basic mechanics, the game’s appeal is not its gameplay.
And of course, the character of sans. But I don’t want to spoil. Watch/listen to the podcast and you’ll find out everything there is to know.
