Who is Axy?
Axy Jackson is a character that emerged after finishing the draft of NeuroBar, when I started to delve deeper and deeper into the background of the story and I found myself in the need to add more characters. It wasn’t a real need, of course, but my own need to add details and make the story more interesting.
One of the first things readers discover in NeuroBar is that Elias Ricci is not committed to Kraeplin Asylum for his insanity, but that he was committed on purpose to evade Eric Miller’s persecution. Not only that, over time, Ricci became the true authority within Kraeplin, like a feudal lord. A Kingpin with true control of the reins.
Axel is a Kraeplin doctor whose psyche was slowly depleted and destroyed by Ricci’s manipulation. With the awakening of a bloodthirsty dementia, “Axy” became a pet of Elias, sickly admiring Ricci’s intellect.
Deprived of his free will and sanity, Axy will do whatever Ricci desires. She will go out of her way to do her “owner’s” bidding, doing whatever dirty work is required of her and even fulfilling whatever sexual requirements are requested of her.
